I talked to the dude. He said the shortening was done on a frame machine. He said he replaced the front clip for the newer body style, but wouldnt answer if it was crashed. It was a 2wd GMC duramax though to start with. It does look pretty clean. I think he has too much money tied up in it...- MMLMM

plug in V2 to laptop, plug V2 into OBD, turn key to run, open a tune file. Try to flash in. Is there at least 12v of power when key is in run? Does the V2 start up and connect to laptop when you plug USB in? Try low speed and alt keys check boxes. Is the USB in the laptop to the V2...- MMLMM

After so many key cycles you will get the security light and it wont crank anymore. There is a recall to have the 94 os put in on all LMMs. If that happens to you, you will have to full flash the 94 os into the truck to be operational again. ECM tuning will be same in 07.5-10. -

If its the same os you wont need to do a full flash. read the tune to check. Also might want to check the o against TIS and see if he even has the right OS in it to begin with. Other than that, flash away with a good LMM tune. Preferably a *94 OS as the *83 has the VATS no start issue. -

turbo timer threw efi live?
my remote start/alarm has turbo timer. before I take the key out, I hit the * button, remove key, lock/arm doors, and it idles for 1 minute (or can be adjusted for more). As for OP, no EFI live can not change anything to make a cool down timer.
