    Twins with Twins, Anyone?

With all wiring connectors pointed down to headers the tees and lines have no interference running with groves in upper covers. Here is the stainless tees Andrew had someone sent him as sales demos while back. Trying to source another second set outa Europe. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using...

    Twins with Twins, Anyone?

Got the injectors back with the new 200% over LBZ nozzles this time. Also reclocked all the solenoids "again" so connectors point towards the clamps this time. The new angle allows all the return line tees to be in a straight row, which should look better than last version. Now just waiting...

oops... They build cranks for a lot other high performance applications and or markets besides diesels. Total faith they'll make it right. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

    Crank / Cam Signal Emulator

Score!! A full set of LMM injector solenoids, minus a few alignment tabs. As they say, one man's junk is another man's treasure. Thanks Andrew G. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

    LML Callies Durastar Crankshaft Issues??

Dang it Mark I had em believing Grant returned from the dead with that projection.. Actually seeing the Compstar issue up close is what got me concerned enough to pay heavy attention to my Ultras. It's either Mahle makes world's hardest thrust washers, or some metallurgy issue with that...

    LML Callies Durastar Crankshaft Issues??

Nope another Durastar example. I checked both my Utra Billets very closely when we had the rods out. Endplay was same as we recorded upon assembly. Only noticed a bit of wear on journals between rod bearings at bottom of stroke. At present time I've concluded that is most likely due to the...

    LML Callies Durastar Crankshaft Issues??

Ulysses S. Grant says the crank face has a grove cut in it about like attached... Reason I suggest you have all hardware RW tested before sending it back. That would help provide an independent conclusion as to issue at hand. Humans invented bearings because they are softer than the steel...

    LML Callies Durastar Crankshaft Issues??

    LML Callies Durastar Crankshaft Issues??

Now is the opertunity to independently verify this one. Suggest you find someone local who has a Rockwell testing tool. Likely someone who works with gears a lot. Have them compare the bearing harness to the the crank face surface. Along with a stock thrust bearing also.. I mean there is an...

    LML Callies Durastar Crankshaft Issues??

Seems to be a Rockwell issue. Someones forgotten to rockwell test the hardness of their finished surfaces before sending them out the door.. There is no good reason a thrust bearing should ever wear out the crank. Guess everyone can stop searching for reasons that don't exist now. I was...

    LMM: digital dash for lmm

That unit should work outa the box. However the first line states the problem I listed above, it's OBDII based. Which will incur some lag. I've actually installed one of those before in a Subaru powered kit car for a customer few years back. Only issue I see with the LMM on that is boost will...

    LMM: digital dash for lmm

You can find more info on the gateways I build over at marinemods.us site. All depends on which dash your looking to use, if I can do ya any good or not. Currently I've focuses on J1939 and N2k output protocols since that's the two most common in marine. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

    LMM (NQG) Tune VS Standard

Ok here is where things start getting a little tricky. Depending on which Engine Operating ID your running, the related CANbus messages are slightly different. This is because in a truck with dial knob transfer case control, there is an onboard TCCM ECU to specifically handle shifting duties...

Ok here is link to the (NQG) related topic. https://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=81937 Now back to fudging CANbus packets.. Discovered the transmission DeFuel On Shift packets pattern last night. Aw the fun I could have screwing with my buddies who leave their BT dongle...

    LMM (NQG) Tune VS Standard

Got the stock floor shift transfer case file loaded, with VATS disabled, DTC related limits removed, and a truncated the {B1160} Pedal Position to Desired Torque in 4WDLO table so I could identify which mode it's running by pushing RPM above XXXX. Loaded it up on the same ECM, and pins 57 & 82...

    LMM (NQG) Tune VS Standard

As most of you know I prefer the E35B over the E35A ECM for stand alone swaps. And I thought I knew it pretty well, until I started looking to assign some normally unused signal lines for other uses. That's when I stumbled onto a pinnout difference between two build version under the same LMM...

    Crank / Cam Signal Emulator

Actually all good points. And I was just getting ready to dig up the old MPG pid to try and calibrate a GPH meter to go in the boat. Depending on which tune, load is calculated off RPM, TP, MAP, and MAF. So it tracks just like it would in a truck on the bench. However in the speed density tune...

    Crank / Cam Signal Emulator

All those points I have been able to replicate on the bench over past 24hrs. With the crank cam Sim, and some recorded canbus data from short drive in a buddies truck, I have it pretty much sorted out. But my crappy ISP had me unable to post anything till now. Your correct the torque tables...
