So as not to completely scrap all the twins 316 stainless, and hours of labor in the last set of up pipes, decided modify them into a 3 piece Y pipe / turbo mount. After a whole day of fitting and welding, discovered the turbo outlet tube is gonna clash with charge cooler cover. Mock up twice...- kidturbo

Thanks guys. It has an IAT somewhere cause it's accurate in the data logs. But I agree that is typically the two other wires. Guess we're gonna need to compare ecm side pinout. Reason for mismatch is engine harness outa an 02 automatic that drug the ECM down the road last seconds of its life...- kidturbo

We fired this puppy up tonight on headers only. Runs good but kept going into power reduction mode after a few minutes. MAF was reading ok but kept setting a circuit code. The engine harness is for a 5 wire MAF from 2002 and ECM is outa 99 which had a 3 wire. Anyone know differences here...- kidturbo

We checked for outa round before and didn't notice any measurable difference. Then literally made 3 - 8 strokes with the bead hone just to knock that glaze off in a few spots. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk- kidturbo

Just wrapping up the sanding on first piston set. Haven't started the final polishing yet. Going from a sand blasted surface to somewhat shiny (1500) takes about 45 minutes per piston with a low speed dremel tool. Did I mention I dislike coatings?? Rings arrived yesterday, so need to grind all...- kidturbo

What ever it was didn't get it all under lip. Problem I noticed is, soon as ya hit that tbc with high pressure material, it looks like raw aluminum.... Anyways I got 2 of em done to 3000 on tops and easy to reach areas. Gonna need a little more hand work in the bowl. But they should be good...- kidturbo
