    I get what you're saying about not needing an all out build but I've been down that road with a customer recently. By time you factor in the overhaul gasket kit, sump & spin on filter & hydraulic mods you're better off just getting a Suncoast gmax 5-3 or 6-3 kit that includes everything.

    In my experience the LBZ/LMM are more common but that might have something to do with the 6 speed transmission. A 5 speed truck cruising at 70-75 mph is past the 1650-1850 rpm range Mark mentioned. The 6 speed hangs out there all the time. But I'm still nervous my LB7's crank days are numbered:(

    Had a local kid with a '13 denali trash his turbo & it ran away like that. He had watched enough youtube videos to know that stuffing his jacket in the intake would stop it. Motor wasn't hurt cause he stopped it in time. Not the case here. Ouch!!

    I would get them delipped. It's not pricey and it helps get rid of the hot spot around the bowl. Mine are holding up well plus many guys have pushed cut & delipped stockers way past what you'll be doing. You're in for an internal balance job anyway if you change to LBZ rods.

    You lose A/C when you do all 3 chargers beside the motor so you can run a nice aluminum intake. Jason Wehrli did two 75s and a 72 that way. Fills in that space nicely without the accumulator there:) Back on topic. Did you get this thing going yet? Any track time? I'd love to see you hit a 9...

    I ran 22 in the front & 18 in the back but I was also much lighter. 6400 race weight. I cut 1.60 60s launching at 22 psi. Like you said traction isn't your issue & neither is power judging by your trap speed. Get your converter loosened up & fix that boost leak & you'll hit your 10 effortlessly...

    Garrett GTX4508R

    I personally wouldn't go with anything but a Garrett if I was gonna go that big as a single. The dual ball bearing is really noticeable when you run a big single as a daily driver.
