FSM says the ECM inhibits cruise control operation when any of the following conditions exist:
A cruise control module DTC (trouble code) is set
Vehicle speed < 25mph
Vehicle is in Park, Neutral, Reverse, or 1st gear
Engine RPM is low
Engine RPM is high
Vehicle speed is too high
System voltage...
My aftermarket mirrors for LB7 had metric M6 x 1.00 studs. The nuts that came with them featured a captive 22mm washer as well.
I also checked my stock OEM mirrors and they were also M6 x 1.00 studs.
Hope that helps.
OP - not sure what year your truck is. Some of the PAC RadioPRO modules claim to retain rear seat entertainment functionality.

Could you verify the main problem you are trying to solve right now is that the truck starts cranking (but won't start) when you turn the key to RUN?
My suggestions were for troubleshooting "truck cranks when key is in RUN position". Failure to start is a whole other set of potential causes...
Going to throw out a few ideas which might help. ECM controls the starter relay.
Inputs to the ECM. The BCM is the "power mode master" of all modules connected by the class 2 data bus. The BCM does monitor the ignition switch with 3 different signals, ACC, Ignition 1 and Ignition 0. From...
Good deal. Thanks for posting the fix, so much more useful informatoin for people who may be experiencing similar problems can know the ultimate resolution. :thumb:
Another Mike L. cooler install
Thanks for the detailed info in this thread, made it an easy choice to go with Mike L's cooler. Just put it on my LB7 last night. Mike provides excellent written instructions and the fit/finish are perfect.
From the FSM
Here's what the 2003 GM FSM says, may be helpful for debugging.
The following conditions must be met in order for the A/C compressor clutch to turn on:
The ambient air temp is above 40F
The A/C low pressure switch signal is grounded (switch on the accumulator. Low side below...
Ok, thanks for checking. I have the same version 33.004 that you do. I am guessing GM may have removed that parameter in favor of something else somewhere along the way, especially if the Tech2 has a limit on the total number of parameters that can be monitored. I will use EFIlive to monitor...
Thanks, much appreciated. I did check the HVAC screens in the Tech2 as well and didn't see that data available there either, but all the stuff in the 3rd picture I attached above is there (recirc/outside, hot/cold door positions, etc). When you get a chance, if you could verify one way or the...
Thanks for the reply. Low pressure switch is on the accumulator but LB7s do have a 3 wire pressure transducer up on top on the pressure line right as it leaves the compressor, FSM schematic shows it (red/black/gray wires). I am hoping someone with a Tech2 can point me to the right menu to read...
Hi all,
I recently purchased a Tech 2 (clone) and have had the opportunity to get familiar with it while debugging an A/C issue on my LB7.
The FSM states that the A/C pressure sensor should be readable as a ECM data parameter in "Engine Data 2". This is the 3 wire transducer on the high...
Hi all
Dale from the Portland, OR area. 2003 LB7 dually, original owner at 140k miles now. Just took the plunge on a built trans and a set of DSP5 tunes and trying to resist going down the rabbit hole too far.
Long time lurker, learned so much by reading the collective expertise...
