    Well ended the race season on a good note, best pass of 9.72 @ 150.xx. hurt the converter so taking the rest of the summer off. It's 108* here today so easy excuse. Will be selling the 10 bolt rear axle and throwing in a 9" and a bit bigger tire, refreshing the converter and adding an SFI case...

    Both Dmitri and Kelsey from Canada had hard times too, believe she lost the engine on the sled pull. Don't think Dmitri made it past the Dyno.

    Replaced 1 mile of wire rope in one of our cranes today. Not fun. Long, slow process.

    His one off trans he had was the downfall. Keeping the converter unlocked with big power is the key to making a fast pass and make stuff live. His truck is a full frame I believe, just gutted.

    What did you do at work today?

    It's a mega wing that bolts on to the top of the boom. It's strictly for reinforcement of the tip of the boom under load. Those cables pull about 10klbs each side. If it didn't have this, the boom would most likely snap in half.

    What did you do at work today?

    Just got done with a critical lift today, temporary bridge section for the I-10. This is our grove 550ton crane, with mega wing and full counterweight iirc around 350,000 lbs. Got the job done in record time, this time around.

    It's a stage 3 from them, but 500 bucks each way to ship it got old and I'd rather spend 500 round trip to Cali. #sarcasm :D It's a PTC unlocked converter. I thought about the lock ones, but not sure if I want to go that route just yet
