    Yeah there is quite a few [Diesel] units out there that share this same case. So I've been searching by that model, then looking at each for board images for possible match to our LB7 or LLY versions. I think a lot of those would work fine, if ya stacked 2 together to fire 8cyl... lol

    That will work perfect. I can't bring myself to hack the ECM plug off that LB7 Kodiak chassis harness. Now I can just wire up the lugs to a battery, figure out an ignition switch, and save a good harness for someones future stand alone build.

    Powered up this TCM on the bench. I don't know the history. Has no codes, so left it powered up for an hour, monitoring the raw canbus data for anything unusual. Seems functional. What else can I check before tossing it up for sale? Stick it in an oven? And what's the deal with this funky VIN...
