    Your frame is bent or all the box mounts got shifted to the point where they won’t come back as they aren’t meant to. A bent spring hanger will make it drive off but it won’t throw off your body lines on a fully boxed frame. Ford sells full individual rails. I wonder if gm does also?

    What kind of driving are you doing over this 1000miles? Mixed highway/city? Towing? Sustained higher rpm?

    So something must have been wrong with the stock tune. I got a good replacement ecm, read it and it was good, flashed it with my stock again and it bricked. This time it showed a VIN and one other segment, but that’s it. Couldn’t reflash it or do anything. I turfed everything I had for this...

    So I’ve never bricked one before. I found a supposed good used out of a wrecked truck. No idea if it is stock or tuned. Recommendations on what to do after I get it in the truck? Read it, see if it’s stock and if it is full flash to my stock tune before I flash my dsp5?

    Well just made a rookie mistake. Been tuning trucks since ‘07 and bricked my first ecm. Forgot to set the bully dog that was in this truck back to stock before I unplugged it to full flash my dsp5 and bricked it. No coming back from this one I’m guessing. Now I need to find a good used one.

    Ya I know about that and was going to do it with tune 2 but was wondering if this accomplished the same thing. Waiting on pins to show up to wire in the high idle switch so can’t test it myself yet.

    Tie rods were good they said so not touching them. Plan is to lift it in the spring so I’ll probably throw some Fabtech or Krypronite tie rods in at the same time.

    What are you paying for Diesel in your area?

    My math has us @ about 4.67/gal figuring the exchange rate and all here. $1.70/liter. Cheaper than a lot of Alberta which is odd.

    Oh no this one won’t be staying stock. Probably toss a BD screamer at it and a downpipe, build the trans once it starts getting a few extra neutrals, lift kit. Get it where I want it then marry it. Done with emissions and uncomfortable seats.
