    This is not true...the tcm will command a target for the ecm to try and hit. The ecm calibration 100% does have an effect on shift quality(speed and rpm) and lockup.

    Just took out a newer transtar 3 disk "towing converter" from a lb7 dually that couldn't get out of its own way and would heat up the fluid to 230 in less than 5 miles of flat towing. Straight Junk IMHO. I'd put in one of Phil's single disks before ever recommending Transtar.
