Freshly built trans no forward gears??
the same thing happened to me it was a junkyard trans of unknown origins, but the stater support shaft had moved and the fluid circuit wasn't completing so neither c1s or c2s would apply. moral of the story i always air checked from then on but if it was a know good trans see how the...- boominator

Broken Crankshaft Count?
Yes 15426378 is fords gas v8 firing but there cylinders are numbered different so for a duramax to fire in the same order it would be 12734568. I can see were the confusion can come from in my post- boominator

To clarify I was proposing the new order to be 12734568 were 3 and 8 would be swapped 12734568 is the same order as the 7.3 6.0 and 6.4 powerstroke and they dont seem to have any problems- boominator

the firing order is 1 - 2 - 7 - 8 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 3 so 1278 4563 3 and 8 are companion cylinders unless my thinking is too inline six- boominator
