C2 clutch housing grooves

Trying to see if these pics show up. They are of my C2 clutch housing, wondering what would cause the grooves in the splines

The harder kolene steels beet up the housing as it is soft steel to cut down on tooling costs
To prevent this you can use stock steels.

Harder KOLENE steels coupled with the the better clutch packs grabbing so much harder.

is it alright to continue using it or could it cause other problems down the road? wondering if it will cause the steels to hang up or get caught on those grooves

suncoast is working on a new kit. Andrew posted some nice pics on another thread.
I would just reload it as is until they come out.
Than pm bustedknuckles he has good prices on the c2 drums
