On the lbz lmm, it only adjusts commanded fuel pressure. But just downward if temp gets too hi. I typically use that sensor in the Oil Cooling system to monitor oil temp on canbus. And learned lowering the fuel pressure using that table, doesn't achieve what ya think. No warning light because...

Nothing a diode won't fix.. [emoji4] I wondered if anyone would cath that. Here is the new style baro, map, and maf mod. I'd almost forgot these used an analog MAF back then..

Forgot this one. Have all the important sensor tuned in for reasonable idle. All left is to wire up the FPR, and add injector coils to the FICM. Then will swap the ECM's.

Spent a few hours cleaning up the fuse block and wiring for the LB7. Wanted to tripple check all the wiring with this Kodiak ECM before swapping it for a known good unit. If it rolls smoke first connection, we'll know it wasn't me... Or at least I'll lead with that.. LOL. I fused all the hots...

Have a fairly good idea now of where our sensors set in the front cover. Am sure we can get it perfect with a bit more measuring, but here is my best guesstimate based on tooth positions and sensor angles. As most of you know, ya can't swap the crank cam sensors. Well you actually can, they will...

I think you have it right in this one.. 26th tooth on both engine models. Sound correct?

So in your last pic the tooth removed is the last not the first ? On my LMM I can see the bolts holding the reluctor wheel onto the crank gear and tooth relation. So one can calculate the position of the crank keyway based off pictures. But when the pictures are of flat pieces, you are 50/50...

Yes that looks better. You can see the bolt positions in my photo and video above. Will take a couple more, but problem is we are comparing apples to oranges relating to using those bolts as ref..

I was checking on the LMM, so add 1 tooth. On the LB7/LLY, with 25 teeth, this looks pretty close at TDC. Could be off a half, but we are darn close..

What ya'll think I been doing with that bore scope past 3 days, checking the oil level?? LOL 👁️ Its gonna be fairly easy to exactly locate the sensors once we know the specific tooth count vs crank & cam keyway positions. Cam is easy, but the crank a fine line on exact tooth to TDC .. So...

Ran it several times, and I get 26 teeth to #1 TDC on the LMM. So should be 25 to TDC on the LB7 / LLY. Source: https://youtube.com/shorts/g_v-1IBO09o?si=hZ6H8dYTaahEm-pg

I was thinking something else when said reversing sweeps. Yours looks in spec to me. I run E38 - E92 gas engine throttles with LMM's, and here the normal spread for those.

No cheating.. Only allowed to use images submitted by other members as reference.. Yes the one with arrow is our extra tooth. While the two small holes represents our crank center with #1 TDC. And compression stroke being hole at top which aligns with our crank keyway. I just did the count to...

Ok stupid question for everyone.. How we know which crank ring face is up? Or towards front of engine? LLY doesn't have key for comparison. And the holes don't match up either..

By comparing the two wheels, looks like this is our TDC Hole on the LB7 / LLY version.

    No Throttle No codes

I'm not positive on that sweep for l5P. But will take a look at an lmm in a few for comparison. If it shows 0% 99% in the data, then it's working. No they do not use TPS on the diesels. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk

Look back on like page 9, i think. Send a scan of the lbz ring, and we can compare holes to the lb7 in pic above. I'm betting it's one before the gap. Don't worry about that tooth, just bolt it all together and align dots on the gears. Then we can count reluctor or gear teeth. Sent from my...
