    P088 High Fuel Pressure Code

Been done already when new batteries were installed. Problem was there before and after.

    P088 High Fuel Pressure Code

Have a look at the screenshot I posted above. It has everything in it. That was at an idle. But yes 64 desired and actual for mA, but rail at 5800ish desired but actual double that. Seems weird. The mA thing is what’s throwing me. I’m missing something basic here…..

    P088 High Fuel Pressure Code

Further questions to that if it doesn’t respond, Means it’s locked in limp mode or just doesn’t have communication with the FPR maybe? Both? Is table B1016 supposed to be the current it max’s at in limp mode? If so In my old stock LBZ tune it’s at 400 mA. In this truck it’s currently at 64mA...

    P088 High Fuel Pressure Code

Stock as stock. Only other codes was for 2 glow plugs. Limp mode could be a possibility but I did clear the codes once, but not while running.

    P088 High Fuel Pressure Code

Buddy is getting a P088 code on his stock ‘06 LBZ EC dually. Hooked up his scan tool and his actual FRP is around 12k kpa, desired is around 6k kpa at idle where you want it. FPR is at 64mA desired and actual, % was at 40% and no matter what you do with the pedal it doesn’t change and only...

    LB7 DIC MPG

Sure. Just curious why you still use the 4.54? If you change your vehicle to mpg it’s going to use the US measurement anyways. Liters per 100 means nothing if you don’t know exactly how many liters you have in the tank. Super dumb.

    LB7 DIC MPG

I always use US MPG as I’m nowhere near old enough to remember Canadian mpg when people actively used it and the only place on this continent you’re gonna buy a gal of fuel is in the US so……lol! Last time I hand calculated mine I was .5 mpg lower than the DIC. I can live with that. Changed some...

You got a brand and p/n for the pump you bought?

01-10 steering box redhead ,PSC ,OEM

Is the lmm pump better than the current oem style options out there for classics? Direct bolt in and hose fittings the same also? Update I don’t feel the BBB I put in is going to live too long. It’s a marked improvement over what I had in there but still has more steering wheel play than I...

    Boost Pressure Log vs Tune

Kind of what I suspected. I’ll make some tuning changes and see how far I can go with it before the wastegate head cuts off the boost.

    Boost Pressure Log vs Tune

My question more pertains to when the ecm reads boost pressure and references it to the boost table is it including the atmosphere in its readings or psig with the atmosphere pulled out of it already?

    Boost Pressure Log vs Tune

Ya I still log in the old 7.5. I need to update myself I guess. There is only one boost pressure pid in there that works.

    Boost Pressure Log vs Tune

Struggling to remember my tuning knowledge. Been awhile……. So when logging my LB7 tune 5 in my DSP I’m only seeing 21psi (145kpa) on my gauge but 35psi (240kpa) in the log. Atmospheric pressure is about 13psi (88kpa). Tune max’s out at 37psi (255kpa). So does the boost pressures in the tune...

    LB7: decent milage tune

I’ve actually never tried to cross commingle a script from different model ecm's before so not sure if that works without getting errors or not. Different OS’s in the same model ecm yes without issue.

    LB7: decent milage tune

What’s your stock OS? Ran this script over my 9044 and it came up with 8 errors.

    Piston rings not seating

Possibly PTW and I have seen it look like that when someone puts the piston in backwards.

    Piston rings not seating

That piston looks like it was in there for 100 000 miles with those wear marks on the skirt and above the top ring. I’d be asking for ALL the measurements from that shop of Piston to wall, ring gap and bearing clearances too! Something looks off for that low mileage.

    Talk me out of Headgaskets

To the op this is the easiest way to determine if it’s HG’s or not.
