    Carrillo v.s. Howards

    so i read somewhere that the only significant difference in these 2 is that the howards has some provision for oiling that the Carrillos don't come with but is available for a fee.. is this correct? if some can someone enlighten me a little about what it does and how important it is?

    Half inch is the biggest I have. But it gets most jobs done. I'll def be using studs. No sense in screwing around with anything else

    thanks, i do have a 36mm socket..needed a set of big buys for the cv axles. and levelers are only like 30 bucks...guess ill invest in one.

    yet to be a written in concrete answer, pretty sure the head gasket is toast... if not perhaps some piston damage. either way it needs to be pulled..

    thanks kyle, ill def keep that in mind. i have a semi-heated ground level basement that would be perfect for dong the actual motor work... it would just be getting the motor out of the truck and into the garage that seems like it would be the biggest hurdle

    ok thanks... now, besides obviously disconnecting from the transmission and mounts, soft fuel lines and electronics...what else has to some off before i can get it out of the truck? turbo? starter?

    no the one on the last page where the guy is selling his stand and hoist as a combo for 275 for the 100 bucks for a stand ide rather have it then mess around on a ne with pallet... probably just the head gasket but i do have some pistons here that need cutting and coating... if i do find some...
