Has anyone removed the stock power steering pump and used a 12V Electric hydraulic pump to power the steering and hydroboost on 2500hd/3500? I have heard of some Dodge guys doing it on pulling trucks, but not any GM trucks. Wondering if it works well or better off going full hydraulic steering...
I have a 11' LML that's deleted with my big tune around 500hp and a stock allison. The tranny gets pretty lazy on the big tune. If your going to drive it hard on bigger tunes, you will definitely destroy a stock allison. I see your in MN, if your looking for a local builder give Josh at Jags Pro...

I dont think they make the mini spool for 38 spline axles, you would need to get DHD's 38 spline spool also.
