    I have the HD model and no problems, I have no idea why the high intake temps but then I have never taken my truck to the track like some of you all do. I have never had performance or heating problems too. Its nice not to have to change filters and I just clean it every few years or so.

    With diesels being more and more popular now, and with the 6.0L still on the table the 8.1L just isn't needed. I see it being used in a minor capacity or being outright stopped and GM will just re-tool it later to make it better when they have better finances.

    Sounds like my dogs when we did that to them this year. We only got them to sit still by holding treats and making them stay put. But then the gawd dang cat ruined it.
