    Oil supply line twin kit lly

    The oil supply line to my s480 twin has broke at the top side by the charger. It's a wehrli twin kit. Can I replace it with rubber line and compression fittings or does it need to be braided like the original one?

    Anyone know if the lml crank works in the lly block? Is it any stouter? My current crank is pitted and has runout, wanting a stouter option before I put this thing back together.

    Interested in these numbers also... How do these rods differ from traditional lbz Rods? I've got s480 twins on my lly. Bent a rod so in the works of rebuilding it.. Was doing lbz Rods but this has me thinking... Any input? Been researching trying to find info on these rods and pistons to see if...

    Prior to twins I was running a single cheetah at around 600hp. Just shy of it anyways. I wouldn't mind spending 10k to get the parts so I can build it to handle a shit ton of hp. 900 to 1100 be kickass. Guess I needa do some pricing.

    I dnt dd the truck it just sits in the garage till events or a nice day. If they r cracked or rods ruined bout wats it cost to do a built block. Been told 15 to 20 but haven't priced it out. But I dnt believe it's a hg. Unfortunately

    Hey shut ur mouth. It's not the rods lol. Naw it could be but being 2 cyls right beside each other I'm thinking blown gasket or cracked head. We shall see. Worse case motors coming out for a build.

    Well got the compression test finished last night. Cll 4 and cyl 6 was low. 4 was 235 and 6 was 378. All others was 410. Got the rocker assembly and all out last night. Pushrod r all good. Get the head off tonight and know a lil more of wats going on.

    I did 5 7 and 4. All read out the same. But it doesnt tell me if the power is going thru the plug to the injector. Just that it has power up to the plug....

    I checked cyl 7 to see Wat it says. Reads same as cyl 4 did. That's red probe on a wire other on the frame. Both wires going in read 15.5 or so. The codes on cyl 2 has me wondering bc I just ice picked them and still got the codes coming back.... How do u test the ficm?

    Got some codes today. P0202 p0335 381 p2149. Since cyl 4 is easy to get to I stripped some wire back on each wire going into the connector. With truck running I see 15.4/15.6 volts. Isn't it suppose to be a lot more then that?

    Any way to test a ficm? And how u go about testin these plugs to make sure current is present? Dnt wanna cut the wires but probes won't fit inside the connector. And motor sounds likes no pushrod bent, but it's an option I guess. I believe the wires r dead somehow

    I'ma compression test it later. Think I've got a new wiring issue though. Could be a bent pushrod I suppose but I'm pretty certain it's not a compression issue. Will know tonight when I get home

    I'll see if I can borrow a buddies compression tester. As for the valves, the truck has only been idled, I just finIshed everything and can't figure these rates out. As for the smoke clearing uP going down the road that's a big negative. Smokes like a train. I dnt believe it's getting power...

    +. And no I do not have the stuff for a compression test. Heads and studs was done about 2k ago. Truck ran fine prior to having my injectors done. Checked the rates before I sent them off.

    Ok just installed a set of wherli twin turbos on my dmax along with having my injectors hones, balanced and drip tested... Trucks white smoking at idle now..... Pulled the injectors back out and had them all rechecked. Come back at a 1cc variance across the board on idle, 10cc wot. All passed...
