    ball bearing turbos dont use much oil, it they are a water cooled center section they use very very little oil. journal bearing turbos need a lot more oil to not burn up the bearings.

    -6 on journal bearing turbos and -4 on 90% of ball bearing turbos

    to me spring doesnt really matter, i use total boost to control when my gate opens and how much, using the regulator on the top port and full to the lower. with more spring pressure it just keeps the gate more consistent so drive pressure spikes are less likely to open the gate too early.

    They way I was set up my atmo was always doing more than 50% of the total boost. In my opinion yes 100% is too big but I live at high elevation so my opinion is skewed from others.

    Probably because you have a larger housing on your high pressure. I don't remember what's your total boost and atmo boost?

    Depends on who's nozzles as well. My 30% were enough to make nearly 900 hp. I think for a strong street truck your are on the right track

    thats how ive always done it as well, go tight for spoolup, then you can bypass more through the gate at wot and really push the atmo :thumb:

    https://youtu.be/Gt0nT7HhaAE ill just leave this here, same track, 71/94, 30% nozzles..... i offered to help but you didnt want it, it took me some time but i know what works at high elevation. i should mention i start spooling when jd finally gets his bulbs lit.

    3 bolt downpipe flance?

    from what ive read you just have to get the new downpipe and clamp for the trucks with the flange.
