I'm looking into running this setup and was curious how those that currently run it like it. The 80 I have will have a bilet wheel and I may also add one to the 466.

Okay thanks. I'm thinking the 400 frame will flow better and be more efficient then a 366 and alow for an easier upgrade down the road.

Go tight on the exhaust housing, you will appreciate it in spool up! Little things make a big difference.

Towards the end of my changes (similar turbo setup) I could leave at 17psi and run a 11.8.5-11.9 and leave a no boost running a 12.1. The setup can spool like a champ if done right. :thumb:

thats how ive always done it as well, go tight for spoolup, then you can bypass more through the gate at wot and really push the atmo :thumb:

also another reason to go a little tighter is if you run a single, say you run a 1.0 on an 87 turbine, it will spool ok as a single. But When you go twinned, the charger will then be slower spooling. so a hair tighter on the exhaust side can make that up.

I'm alright.

I didn't see this at all. My s472/87/1.0 spools better now in the compound setup than it did as a single.

I run dual cp3 but only have 30% injectors. My valley turbo is 72/87/1.0. It has alot more left in it before needing the gate.

Oh okay. I guess the 30% sticks limit the flow greatly. I'm hoping my fuel setup will drive the chargers well and they won't require more fuel.

Depends on who's nozzles as well. My 30% were enough to make nearly 900 hp. I think for a strong street truck your are on the right track
