    Broken Crankshaft Count?

watching it the event seems to be really pronounced for the short duration that it is there. I would be curious to see what the crank is doing during that time, although I'm guessing being in a truck hooked to a driveline will take a lot of the stability out that is required for a serous event...

    Broken Crankshaft Count?

makes sense, I would be curious to see some actual data off of it, and see if you can put it into a harmonic event holding it at a set power level and RPM.

    Broken Crankshaft Count?

Is this a trend with different tunning and internals or do you see different ranges with different tunes and parts??

    Broken Crankshaft Count?

I would love to see actual vibration readings on both cams on an engine dyno and in a truck on a dyno both under full load and a load you would expect to see driving at 70 MPH. And hold each 25 RPM or so for a good 60 seconds to let a harmonic situation develop

Bringing this up from the dead, I'm getting ready to make this kit to put on the truck.

    I'm not dead...

It has been interesting, but I'm ready to get back to the mainland for sure. Cant wait to start playing with the new truck

The only reason I came back was b/c I knew you would be so disappointed that I did

    I'm not dead...

I know I haven't been on here for a while, I have been busy on the other side of the world, figured I would drop a few vids off for your amusement of the fun we have been having out here. Hopefully I will be home in a few weeks and can get started on the race truck again but until then enjoy us...

Discussion on change in NHRDA Rules

I would have to agree with this, seems like the events are more of a very organized get together than an event. I think the events are very well run you just don't have the fan base at this time. I can't think of a quick fix for it other than accept the fact you do it for fun.

    s300 Triples

I don't see a real need for wastegates on the primaries unless you were doing something crazy like a lot of spray. The valley turbo is already taking some energy out of the flow and it would take a crazy amount of fueling to overwhelm the twin 366s.

    s300 Triples

I think you would be very happy with a 467 in the valley with 362-366 size twins. I have 0 issues getting on top of the twin 366s even with a 650HP tow tune and normal driving. If you decide you want to turn it up with a twin 366/467 you could spray a little bit between stages and reduce the...

    Anybody have a 2015 yet?

I drove a brand new dodge 2500 hemi with 3500 miles on it (GOV) and hated it. Thing wandered around on the road bad (but didn't pull to one side so don't think it was hit). At least it wasn't like the 1/2 ton dodge with a dial for a shifter, that thing was a mind fk.

    s300 Triples

triple 366s work fine and tow/DD great. How you size depends on if you want the kit to be optimized for towing/DD (so a smaller than ideal HP turbo) or optimized for the top end but deal with some more lag. I would ask yourself what percentage of the time you will be running the truck above 1000...

    cold weather and defueling

the 911 is really hard on the injections system, and is more for water in fuel than fuel waxing. Use more of #1, and a normal cold weather additive. Keep clean filters on hand-and I keep an extra 10 micron filter just in case I have issues so I can swap it out and get home

LBZ: Something is really f'd up now.

If all the GP are out and it still won't turn over something is really hurt in there. I can't even think of what would seize it like that. The starter didn't stay engaged and seize up did it?

at what point did you add

OEM exhaust works fine at mild built power levels. Lots of guys just throw a LML drivers side on and call it good for street builds. IC flow fine, but the OEM seems to let go somewhere above 50 PSI, your results will vary with that.

    Winter Fuel Economy

I had mine gel with the "winter blend" with Stanadyne. I think the sump really hurts me

at what point did you add

I put a LML drivers side manifold on my truck. stock exhaust besides that b/c I felt the money could be used elsewhere. Not that I wouldn't put a good set on if I had the cash and I will be doing something for the race engine. But not needed until way down the road

    Winter Fuel Economy

I would be happy to have the truck just stay running on winter blend.... Get one of those cheap magnetic heaters (like what TSC sells) and throw one on the trans and engine oil pan. I would have a timer kick off all 3 heaters (trans, oil, and block) heater 3 hours prior to me leaving and...
