    99-03 have the ALH engine. Buy one of those with a 5spd manual and you will be set forever with awesome mileage and minimal problems.

    Before I bought the top box I had all of my sockets in the top drawer of the roll cab and it didnt like it. But now they are in the top so all is good. I mean these cabs are cheap, but look at what you get for $1000 and they kick the shit out of a crapsman

    My moms (may she RIP) 2006 TDI smoked quite a bit when you stomped it. And she definately had a lead foot. Sad thing is dad has a leadfoot too, but averages 7mpg better than her. Must be a different of leadfoots. I get about 25mpgs when I drive it. Mom got 40mpg, dad gets 47ish
