    DUH, that is WHY I posted this in the LML forum, I want to install an electric clutch on my LMM and control it outside of the ECM environment, the reason I need the information is because it is not in the 2008 LMM documentation I am subscribed to.

    There is allot of stuff not connected, if it was all connected I would not be looking for this resource, yes the EGR fell off when it belonged to someone else, it is going in a emissions exempt vehicle anyway, is it my imagination or does this thing have a bowtie bell housing pattern?

    Question: tire/gear ratio?

    I am sorry if this has been asked before but I could not find it.. I am thinking of transplanting the original LMM dash cluster in my HMMWV conversion and would like to know if the speedo correction can be made. The HMMWV (M998) has a gear ratio of 4.915:1 and a 37" tire, can this be programmed?

    Yes this is the LMM rollover donor I don't think it is from being upside down the oil was caked on pretty good on the fuel supply line, EGR has been deleted and it seems to be forward of the PCV, although I am going to look again at the PCV system. Am I wrong, I would think the EGR would route...

    I was not sure where to post this as there does not seem to be a "general technical" area. I am new to the Duramax so I am not familiar with all the common idiosyncrasies of this platform. So would anyone care to guess where the oil is coming from this high on the engine? everything looks dry...

    Also I figured out why I could not find the ODB2 port, someone chopped it out of the harness.:mad:

    As it turns out the transmission turbine speed sensor was unplugged, actually the connector and or sensor is broken and will need to be repaired/replaced. But the transmission will shift through several gears now....:happy2:

    Actually I have come to the conclusion it would be simpler just to use the entire harness and just delete what I do not need

    Yes, like I said it does not seem to be a mechanical problem, every time it is shifted it goes solidly into gear, even going from D to M etc.

    OK so I finally got enough of the wreckage cleared away and did as thorough a job as possible inspecting for damage, bypassed the trans cooler, twisted the key and she fired right up! that did not last long as I discovered while the engine was on walkabout it cracked the fuel filter, picked one...

    I go to "Vehicle » Powertrain Management » Computers and Control Systems » Engine Control Module » Diagrams » Electrical Diagrams" and it tells me to go to " Vehicle » Powertrain Management » Diagrams » Electrical Diagrams" there are just a few "snipits" but nothing that is going to help me...
