    No there is an industry standard that should be recommended by GM like SI-4, FA-4 CK-4 etc as a minimum required spec. just cuz it says turbo diesel oil for example does not mean it is recommended by GM, or even suitable for the Duramax

    I know this sounds stupid but I cannot find what the factory spec is for engine oil for the 08 LMM, numerous searches only come up with a bazillion hit on recommended oils not on factory spec oils, I did not get an owners manual with my truck.

    Interesting but not sure that is it, there should be a wakeup lead and I do not see the front differential control leads EDIT, is the HSLAN the same as the GMLAN? I would assume the HS stands for high speed, but none of the pin numbers are the same on the schematic as the PDF

    I installed a junk yard ECM into my 1 ton 08 LMM, it ran but had 8 injector codes, P268C,P268D etc. I committed a license and did a full flash of my saved tune but I still have the injector codes and the information display says to clean the exhaust filter....

    I went ahead without any comments and did a full flash to the junk yard ECM now it will not crank. EDIT after disabling the VATS it will start but I still have the 8 injector codes P268C etc. Moving over to tuning. THANKS!!
