    LBZ: LB7 Intake Heater Voltage?

Does the intake heater get 12v or is it less? My truck has been starting hard when it is cold. I just checked the voltage to the heater and it is only 8 volts. It was too cold out to check the voltage at the glow plugs. If it is supposed to be 12v where should I look to find the voltage drop?

    suncoast stage 4 limping

Is that too much? It is reading before the intercooler. Hasn't blown up yet. :)

    suncoast stage 4 limping

Which specs are you looking for? Pretty much everything on the engine is still stock. I have dual fm100 lift pumps, 5" exhaust, 285 tires on H2 rims. I think my turbo may be going out as I have been getting a lot of black smoke and currently have the wastegate disconnected (was topping out at...

    suncoast stage 4 limping

I had a suncoast stage 4 kit put in a little over a year ago. In the last few days I limped it twice. I was passing both times. The first time I was pulling an empty trailer and the second it was just the truck. (different days) I don't think it shifted out of 5th either time. I just checked...

    Anyone running FM100 lift pumps?

I just installed a fuel pressure gauge and was kind of surprised by the low PSI reading. Is anyone here running them and have a fuel pressure gauge? I have 2 of them in parallel. With the engine idling and one pump running gets 3-4 psi and both 6-7 psi. I get about 1 higher with the engine off...

    Question: best fuel temp

Why not just take a piece of pipe and wrap it around the ac accumulator and connect it between the filter and CP3?

    Fuel Pressure gauge?

Are there any dealers that sell both TTS products and Autometer? I would like to order the gauge and mount from the same place if possible.

    Fuel Pressure gauge?

If you do, let us know how it works. I found a few posts on various sites that said they didn't read at all under 10psi. Also, on those it sounds like you do have to remote mount the sender to keep it away from engine vibration.

    Fuel Pressure gauge?

I called Autometer and they said there is no need to remote mount the sender.

    Fuel Pressure gauge?

Not likely. I ordered one from a place in England. it will allow me to keep the factory bleeder screw.

    Fuel Pressure gauge?

Well maybe that is the way I should go. If I get the analog Autometer Cobalt and the TTS mount it is still cheaper that the digital and I don't have to make a mounting panel. Here are the digital ones I have already.

    Fuel Pressure gauge?

Does anyone have a gauge mounted in the pocket area (straight)? Is it hard to read from the angle? The main reason I put the digital gauges in the overhead was for that reason.

    Fuel Pressure gauge?

Yeah, I saw the Dakota Digital one and got excited till I saw you need a $130 sender. From what I can find, all the cheap ones are likely to fail. I think I am just going to shell out the extra $$ and get an Autometer. I found a place that has the analog 30psi (electric) for around $150 and the...

    Fuel Pressure gauge?

I am looking for a fuel pressure gauge and was hoping to get something for around $100 or less. I would prefer digital because I will be mounting it to the right of the heater controls and will be looking at it from an angle. (and I have digital boost and egt gauges in the overhead) I have...
