I am looking for a fuel pressure gauge and was hoping to get something for around $100 or less. I would prefer digital because I will be mounting it to the right of the heater controls and will be looking at it from an angle. (and I have digital boost and egt gauges in the overhead)

I have read that the glowshift are junk and don't read right under 10psi so I am not looking at those. I found the Cyberdyne 0-15psi that looked pretty good at first but have been finding a lot of bad reviews of them.

The only other gauge I found in that price range was the Westach (non-digital)

What other options are there? Will I regret going cheap on this? I really don't want to spend the $240 on an Autometer Cobalt.

im also looking for a gauge, i dont care if its digital display or not but i dont want to have to run fuel lines into the cab...i also dont want one that reads 100psi cause i wont be much over 20...

Yeah, I saw the Dakota Digital one and got excited till I saw you need a $130 sender.
From what I can find, all the cheap ones are likely to fail.
I think I am just going to shell out the extra $$ and get an Autometer. I found a place that has the analog 30psi (electric) for around $150 and the digital for $200.

I called Autometer and they said the sender can go directly on the engine. From what I have found most cheap ones seem to fail real quick unless you remote mount it on a hose away from the engine vibration

Well maybe that is the way I should go. If I get the analog Autometer Cobalt and the TTS mount it is still cheaper that the digital and I don't have to make a mounting panel.
Here are the digital ones I have already.

yea but dont the analog gauges require a full line running to them? not sure how comfortable i would be with that in the truck

Not all of them are mechanical. My Autometer analog is or has a electric sender. You have to be careful where or the placment as they don't like vibration. I believe some (most) cases you can purchase or have the option of mechanical or electric.

Mine is attached to a short piece of fuel line off the bleeder screw. So far so good but occasionally it will require a re-key up to get it to work. I guess it's resetting, dunno really

I put my cobalt fuel pressure gauge (electris sender) in the cubbyhole with the TTS pod and have it hooked up to where the bleed screw goes on the fuel filter with the fitting from Merchant Automotive. Has been hooked up for two years and no problems.

I called Autometer and they said there is no need to remote mount the sender.

Tonight I just finished up my fuel pressure guage. I wanted to get some pics up for any one interested. Its an autometer 0-30psi electric gauge. I can get the exact part number if anyone wants it but it was around 160ish? The adapter for the bleed screw I got from merchant automotive for like $7 and the 90 degree fitting I got at a local parts store. Turned the key and works as expected:thumb:
