    Never touched the adaptor plate, still installed from when I bought the used engine. That sounds like a big job, if it comes to that, I may just opt to wait (keep putting in coolant)and put in my engine I'm building right now.

    I think you nailed it with the plate, I just went and tightened the 2 bolts. Got about 1/2 a turn out of both, so they were loose. How do I go about changing the gasket if it still leaks? Do I have to drain the anitfreeze?

    I don't see a crack, but this location makes sense, this is where the leak appears to be coming from. Do I have to remove the starter to see it better. If so how do you fix if no crack exists?

    Heater core lines good, there isn't any in the valley of the engine. Where is the intermediate plate?

    No EGR, with LBZ mouthpiece. Checked all hoses and no leaks found.

    I have a coolant leak on my 04.5, I know it's not the head gasket (I have Boreoscoped the whole outer engine). The leak is running down the back of the engine by the starter, it's funny that it only leaks when I fill the reservoir full, and parked. If I leave it at the add line the truck...

    Do they set a code when to low or high? Obviously depending on the switch. So high switch is on the condenser and the low is by the pump ? correct?

    It worked fine until I changed the engine out in Jan. Would the low pressure switch set a code in the ecm?

    It is now hot enough to require A/C, turned it on and the dash indicates everything right, but when I pop the hood the clutch isn't engaging. Is there a troubleshooting procedure for this? Sorry forgot to mention this for my 04.5 lly.
