    May have been your buddy was the luckier one. Usually 50 psi is where guys start doing studs. Also note I am talking about towing heavy. I am not bagging on Lily trucks but 05 seemed to be more likely to have issues than other years. I currently have 3 guys trucks all 05 running 50rwhp tunes...

    Near PPE. where are you located in So Cal? Mike does the best trans work. EFI is the way to go, but as a few others said, if you go higher HP than you have with the 35's you are gonna need a trans. Be careful heavy towing with higher boost because it can hurt the head gaskets in the 05's.

    Clamp the springs, trac bars, get to max allowed weight. I ran 33" BFGs and never ran my max effort tune. I usually ran a tune that would fuel hard at midrange and competed well against trucks that spent too much time spinning tires and not building ground speed.

    Just saw this thread. I have Giant Anthem X1 with 2x10 XT drivetrain and XO trail brakes. for my cross country races I run a XTC composite. Both 29er's.
