question for you gentlemen.
Sorry misread your post. turned it off and next day no start. Had a No communication code from ecm. check harness,pins, fuel, etc. Nothing. swapped in another buddies ficm and fired right up. -
question for you gentlemen.
on passenger side valve cover. Silver/black flat box says bosch on it. has fuel lines running through it. Buddy of mine just went thru this with his. -

So my buddy swapped out the FICM from another friends lly and the truck started right up. Don't really hear about FICM's going bad. -

does ficm or ecm control cp3 at all or is cp3 only mechanical? ie: if ficm or ecm is bad would we still see flow from cp3 while cranking? -

its not only the CV angles, it is the upper ball joint that suffers when you raise it with torsion bars- fast03
