    Hot cocoal the only problem with a shorter stack is drone..i had a single 8 inch on my 12v and had it about 3/4 way up back glass...dang that thing was loud! Lol but good luck with getting the rest of the way with the wife! Just do it and see how long it takes her to notice lol

    Mine is regular chrome. But noise is perfectly fine..can listen to music at a low volume or talk in cab all the way through rpm range during normal shifting..i have no drone noise at all and mine is barely above the cab. Love it though..and wayyy quieter then my reg cab 12v with a stack

    Haha yea i knew it was coming anyways lol..ive had a few cummins in the past with some go fast parts on them and this hobby aint cheap! But it dose give me a reason to get a built trans just gunna empty my pockets lol

    Great news lol...people said the 777 code is the death code of the trans and it means its on the way out..maybe giving big dipper a call here soon

    ell being that we got some snow in the past few days i went and did some riding with some friends and maybe raised a little to much hell.. Truck threw 2 codes p0700 and p0777 both are trans codes..wondering if seeing these codes maybe its time to get a built trans?? Thoughts please?

    thanks man! lots of good advice for sure. i may go the lift pump and blocker route and go full EGR delete later on. this isnt my first rodeo building a diesel but its my first duramax. got a little bit of thinking and planning to do!

    im kinda thinking the full EGR delete would be a good route togo too..but there is no way i can save for a trans right now haha. i want to do all the supporting small mods. the ones that dont really add power now so i dont have to worry about them later. trans will come after small "preventive"...

    alright guys selling a few things this week so i can buy more mods :woott: having a tough time deciding what would be best for my truck next. ill have about 200-300 to spend. i was maybe thinking a full EGR delete? or should i just save money and go with a blocker plate? and if i go that route...
