This was Pat's latest Sciece Fair project for Casper. It holds 90 gallons of water and weighs 900 lbs. Worked perfect to keep Casper stable at high speeds. It was built to Pat's spec's by Mitch at Mitch's Customs.

So if you re-designed it to have a completely removable top, you could have a bed-mounted hot tub to relax in after a run....:D

Hey why didn't Pat think of that

Actually there are baffles in there. They might hurt to sit on :rofl:

Doesn't the water do a lot of moving around though?? Or is it so full that there's not much room for it to move???

edit: I like the big radiator tank idea. Definately help keep the truck cool with 90 gallons to pull from.

Have you guys thought of using Calcium Chloride Kat? It's what they put in farm tractor tires and forklifts for ballast.

Yes but farm tractors and forklifts go slow. fluid in the tires can get out of balance very easily. NOT a good idea

You can always turn it into a fuel tank and race in "The Cannonball Run"... LOL

Centrifugal force would balance it out wouldn't it? I think in the tires it would make handling worse since its unstrung weight. Plus Calcium Chloride is $$$$ for a few events since it wouldn't help in the 1/4.
