Anyone run the Van forward facing thermostat housing on their LBZ with flexalite fans? just curious if it will work or if it will hit the fans. trying to clean up under the hood a bit.

heres a pic of the new set up for reference and a pic of the old set up with how i have my fans mounted

I ran it on a Lly with flexalite fans and had no issues. I used the van hose and everything fit well. My fans were no higher than my core support and my radiator was moved forward 2 inches. But it was no were close.

Yours looks about 2-3 inches closer than mine but the van cover is angled up and towards the driver side slightly

I would like to switch to a van housing as well. How much do the housings cost at the dealer? Anyone have a part number? Sounds like a good Friday afternoon activity.

Anybody have any pictures of this installed on a lbz with stock fan? I'm going to have the y bridge and crap off here shortly and thought it would be a good time to do this.

Ya i bought the belt that goes for the PPE Oil filtering system since it routes like the ATS kit. So that should be covered :thumb:

I had to make a small fab change on the oil fill also. I just cut the bolt tab off spun it so it pointed out and rewelded it. Or u can shorten it
