Basically a s300 on steroids. 360 thrust is standard, 74mm turbine is no longer clipped, new compressor cover design for improved flow. All new fmw wheel sizes. New 66 outflows current 66. And the new 69 flows almost 100lbs-min. We are supposed to get our first shipment of them around the first of august.

The 64.5, 66, and 69 should be sweet little chargers for the dmax market. And they came in at a great price

Close to it Mike, believe it's like 98ish. Obviously going to be restricted by turbine side but should still be a wicked little setup for the street. I'm planning to try both the 66 and 69 on my LB7

Currently, S300 turbos can be had with both T3 and T4 size turbine housing flanges, but as far as I know, almost all of them come from Borg with a T4 flange.

That makes sense. So do you run an external gate or is there a need?

There is no need for most people. If you're spraying a bunch of nitrous or you have big fuel capabilities, you might need to gate it. It depends on several factors including turbine wheel and housing size. You would need gauges to monitor boost and drive pressure and possibly turbo RPM to determine for sure whether it needs to be gated or not.

Im seriously thinking about the s363/68/14 but its not gated. I think that would be a perfect charger for what I do.

The turbos are being shipped by borg warner without turbine housings, so the distributor selling it to dealers should have all sorts of turbine housing options available once the turbos arrive.

T4 non gated and t3 gated shouldn't be an issue...

Is that something new they just started with this series?

Not really, they have been offering Super Cores in the s400sx line for a while. Just allows the end user to order the turbo with the a/r they need. Rather than buying a turbo with a specific housing, then having to pay extra for another housing and getting stuck with a takeoff they'll never use.

I see. So it's a new thing for the S300 line? That's cool they are selling them like that now.

Direct from Borg, yes.

For this new line, you'll have the choice of a .83, .88 open, .91, 1.0 for the 68mm and a .88 open, .91, 1.0 for the 74mm

Just got our first batch of early production 69mm units in today. These things are sweet.
