Finally put the tie rod sleeves on the LBZ after having them for 4 months.

Truck did fine with stock tie rods going 10psi launches, but put them on so I don't find myself in 2007 again :rofl:

Actually worked on my own truck for about an hour today. Got the lmm intake clams back on and turbo set back in. Now if only I could find my stock coolant pipe from the turbo to the water pump... Maybe I'll have this thing running some time this year.

trans temp alarm on CTS went off today. It was set stupid low so I bumped it up but still got me thinking I should get a bigger cooler. 100* today and trans temp was at 200* idling in traffic.

I'm usually 80-90° above ambient..
Thought about getting some heat reflective sheathing to put over the tranny lines by the exhaust pipe?

And common questions.. Cooling stack clean?

I was 100* over ambient I would have liked to be 80* over, I have the alligator lines they didn't feel extremely hot but with a 5" they might be a tad close to the exhaust, not a bad idea I'll look into some heat tape.
Coolant temp didn't get above 190 and ive never seen it hit 200 before but there still might be some lingering debris in there.

Yea got excited and sat it in there. It's coming back out when the bridge gets here. I wish I had something other than stock sitting there but o well.

Put the Efi live on 04 lb7. Wow. Woke the engine up. Great fuel mileage.
