Whats this bolts in and out business about?



Torsion bar bolts. Taking them out lowered the front of the truck down or turning them up raises it. I've had both and definitely rides 10x better with them down.

I have an 06 Silverado stock height and want to keep it stock height for truck pulling. How much offset can I have with an 18"? same for a 20"? haven't made my mind up if I want 18s or 20s.

I have 18x9.5 285/65/18 all clear little torshen turn up and and lower bumper valence trim I have the GM oem mudflaps

I can show pics after I have ten posts lol new here as it last nite

Rides better with the bolts out, how, when the truck has no travel and sitting on the jounce/bumps whatever they're called.? In other words a cheap way to lower and possibly ruin your tires due to being unable to align the front end properly....

I've wondered this too.. I lowered mine too far when I had my 4 to 6 cognito lift put on and it rode very rough because would just hit the stops right away? Raised it up a little and got better

Here's a few pics of when I was on 20x10 -24 offset. 3" drop shackles and bars lowered a few turns.
