New Carry Gun

in Hawaii the only time your allowed to have a gun is if your going hunting or to the shooting range. and its a straight to the site and straight home kinda deal.

I know, super gay, I carry everywhere, and I mean everywhere it is legal, even the bar....I would never live somewhere I couldn't

Why a 40? Not being an asswhole just a question. I carry a 45 and have had a few 9m in the past. I find it cheaper shot a 9m but I like the power of a 45. I also found I liked carring a 45 after several years in army. One reason was because I wasn't paying for the amo LOL.

I went with a .40 because of the cost of ammo plus the fatigue from shooting for long periods. A friend has a .45 and it's fun to shoot for awhile, but expensive. I take my 9mm & .40 and can shot booth for the cost he pays for his .45 ammo. I use the .40 for my carry gun also. I feel comfortable that a .40 has adequate stopping power if needed. Not as much as a .45, but close.
