Wasn't doubting your skills at all!!! Just thought i would ask but im glad to hear that all of this was well thought out before starting the process. Real life actual R&D is always a great thing. Would you say that this is a worth while mod if one has access to equipment? I would definitely like to try this out.

I didn't take it that way, you were curious and were interested to learn; happy to answer.
If you're pushing high hp then I think it will help but I've not done any testing so I can't say for sure. It will make the exhaust tone different.

Thanks Mack!:thumb:

I don't think there would be but I've not done any testing to be 100% sure. I'm assuming the hot side feed of your S480 from the stock turbo would be 3"? If so, then it would have to neck down to 3" from 3 1/2"(roughly) before going into the 480. I honestly don't think you'd see any negative effect or lag; I see it having a different sound though.

Thanks! :D

She showed up yesterday and I just took a peak at her. I have to say the pictures do not do it justice. She is sexy as hell. Russell did a phenomenal job! The port job is very smooth and well done, the hx40 cut is spot on and the blend looks perfect like she was made that way. From the port and polish to the phone calls to ensure it arrived intact down to the packaging itself you can tell this man takes pride in his work. I'll snap some pics of it on the motor tomorrow and hopefully I'll have some videos of it running soon. I'm extremely pleased to say the least!

Thanks for the kind words Kevin!!
I'm glad everything showed up in good shape and you're happy with it, I'm very pleased how it turned out.

I'm surprised how gapped the vanes are with closed all the way.
