I could be wrong but that dose not look like Mike Ls Setrab cooler , it looks more like PPE went to Mishimoto or Ron Davis for there new coolers , many of us know Mikes works very well I can not testify about the one pictured !

Is this PPE cooler the same quality as Mikes ? Because I know at one time they were the same reading from previous old posts so I’m confused

That’s fairly cool already. Where guys are seeing the big drop is due to running 200-215* average temp.

Have you ever seen higher with the stock cooler? Is the trans temp now staying closer to coolant temp?

Yes temp stays near coolant temp, highest I've seen is 195,was wondering if it would be worth swapping to Mikes cooler or should I keep the Chinese ppe lol

Did you put the air dams back?? I put new ones in and shed 30 degrees when I did my cooler and the deviant JIC kit. Also wouldn’t hurt to clean out your radiator core too since it’s a shared system.

Yes radiator and intercooler is cleaned already be more specific on which air dams are you talking about,Are you talking about underneath the truck I can’t think off the top of my head any shrouds that were in that area

This made in China comments seem a little much unless you have proof the product is not up to standards. I can remember that in the 60's & 70's everything made in Japan was supposed to be bad. Now that is not the case. Don't forget most things, including your mobile phones, are made in China.
