Developed a "fuel" knock this weekend on the way to the truck pull. So I only watched. I did a log of flow rates and received +6.8?, +7.92, and + 8.? on injector number 8. Was thinking about moving it (the injector)to a different cylinder and checking again to make sure the flow rate follows to the new cylinder. Does this sound like a logical move? Any other causes that could make number 8 flow rate so high, also I noticed I have a P0088 code pending on the last data log file I did. Any tricks to removing these injectors?

Cylinder 1 Min -4.05 Avg -2.43 Max 1.42
Cylinder 2 Min 0.03 Avg 1.76 Max 3.75
Cylinder 3 Min -0.63 Avg 1.20 Max 2.91
Cylinder 4 Min -4.02 Avg -3.12 Max -1.89
Cylinder 5 Min -3.92 Avg -0.13 Max 1.44
Cylinder 6 Min -2.27 Avg -1.28 Max 0.44
Cylinder 7 Min -1.84 Avg -0.34 Max 1.75
Cylinder 8 Min 1.75 Avg 4.24 Max 7.92

It's not hard! Remove whatever is in the way , then remove the injector supply line ,then return line, and then rmove the injector hold down. Unless it's seized in there it should cone out fairly easy. Make sure to clean around it first

If you put the fuel line back on you can use it as a handle to wiggle and pull the injectors out.

Is the hold down supposed to come out completly? I can only manage to wiggle it, dosent appear like it wants to come off. I will try reattaching the injector line and see if I can wiggle the injector out

Use a screwdriver and gently pry under the hold down to get it to go up more. Once it goes up so high, the hold down will slide out

That's no good man! Ya maybe you can find others that filled up there and got bad fuel also, so fuel station has to pay,but idk. Good luck, at least you found the problem.

Help me please!!!!!!!!

So the next question is....... Injectors have been refurbished 6 of them now, I installed all 4 on the passenger side bled each line from the fuel rail to the top of the injector, the actually fuel pressure is around 6000psi while cranking but the truck will not start, I am getting pretty frustrated, if anyone has any idea what I could possibly check that perhaps I am missing I would love to hear your ideas. checked and rechecked injector plugs. my next thing i was going to try is re-flashing with the VATS disabled, and if that dosent work I guess I will remove and recheck each injector.

do you have a lift pump? if so it should automatically prime. Is the pump on the filter head hard to push?

yes and yes lift pump is running, filter head is hard to push, fuel is absolutely at the injectors, I actually cracked the fuel line connection on each injector individually and cranked on the engine to ensure I had fuel flowing at the injector

Removed all 4 injectors on passenger side today, all injectors had fuel in them, put them back in truck, still no start, rail pressure while cranking is 1800-2000 psi, any ideas? Anyone? Please? Pretty pretty please?

Kinda sounds electrical.
Maybe double check the harness to ensure you didn't plug them into the wrong set of injectors. Or the ecm fuse in the fusebox might have popped too or one of the other fuses.

Checked all fuses under the hood, and under the dash. Only thing blown is the 40amp for the trailer power. Rechecked the harnesses and plugs. I can only plug my injectors in one way the way they are fastened to the wire loom they can only reach one injector respectively. I agree it seems electrical, when I parked the truck it was running, not well, but running (injectors 3&5 where maxed out at 12mm3) and now it just sits here and looks pretty :(
