As the title says I finished my trans build with a gmax 5 kit precision converter and input shaft deep pan and shift kit went this morning and had the dealer do a fast relearn with the tech 2 I've let if go through several up shifts easy and it still seems to shift up and down really hard the 1-2 shift feels like the trans is gonna rip out of the truck not to mention if I even let it get up to 1900-2000 rpm then it's awful no DTCs the trans temp is sitting around 132 constantly it's got 6 gal of transynd what do I need to do? Thanks guys

Alright I have it apart the check balls were in the valve with the spring on top of them like the transgo paper showed I can't find my transgo paper now so I'm going online to find another break down to double check

Well I've put the vb back in and I'm driving it is I let it shift 1-2 at like 1500 rpm it's solid but it's not slamming the rest are getting better as well but 1-2 was what I was worried about the most I got on it a few times and as soon as it shifts to second it just starts spinning same with third and that's on my 80rwhp tune with out meth spraying but it goes through all of the gears pretty smooth while in it just going in and out of town haul it's pretty rough

From the picture in post 8, it looks like the big spring is in the wrong place. According to my ATSG manual, that spring should be with the outer ribbed trim valve, not the inner non-ribbed one. Mike, correct me if I'm wrong (or my ATSG manual).
