I am trying to keep my fuel system stock and keep it as my daily driver just looking for some more power and the Garrett stage 1 seems to be a good buy?
I ran the 68mm billet wheeled 4094AVNT from Danville on stock fuel and had good luck. As is I'm only running slightly larger nozzles and the spool is good and it definitely runs much stronger than stock in the higher rpms. I don't know much about the stage 1s but it seems like for the price difference the 4094 would be the way to go.
I have driven a LLY with the stg 1. Definetely spools faster than the 4094 in the same application. Pulls a lot harder than stock. Wouldnt have as much potential as the stg 2, but ive driven a couple stg 2 trucks that were lazy....
Alligator's page says this about the stage 2
Larger compressor trim (52), plus larger GT40 turbine wheel and vanes vs. Stage I
But I'm not sure how big the stage 1 is
