AAM 11.5 fluid capacity?

I have a locker and diff cover waiting to go in. What do these hold for fluid?(pan is +1qt capacity) What kind of fluid are you guys running? Royal purple, amsoil, mobile 1?

The rear diff with stock cover holds about 4qts.

Yes if your cover adds about 1 qt I would get 6 qts and that way you have a little extra around the garage.

I run Mobil 1 and have ran Amsoil before just used Mobil 1 last time we had alot left over so used it up.

Valvoline 75-90 Synthetic with BG additive and ATS aluminum cast cover increased it to like 7+ qts. So it almost doubled the capacity with that cover has to make a temp reduction in hot hard pulls. Valvoline warrants it for the axle parts on the Duramax and saved alot on price compared to GM golden magic potion juice.
