I havent followed thid case at all mostly because I dont follow any news really, all ive heard is what comes across the radio or morning news.
If you wouldve asked my opinion before I decided to look into it for myself, I wouldve said he was guilty. I dont listen to any extremist talk radio or anything either. The general media led me to believe he was trying to cover his ass for killing an innocent black kid. They never mention Trayvon doing anything wrong.
During my research, I noticed the comments section was fillrd with people in support for Trayvon. Now I mean no disrespect but I believe this could be due to the fact most of his supporters have no job or nothing better to do. I dont mean that as a racist comment either, plenty of lazy white libs out there.
Its funny that I come on here and everyone is in agreement. Rarely happens in politics. Maybr its because we all like Dmaxes haha.
Im glad his is suing them unfortuneatley I fear it will not make the right statement. It should show that todays youth need to be held responsible for their actions as do their parents. So many feel invincible and entitled to everything. So many things in schools have changed due to complaining parents feeling their child is an angel. Everything has to be fair and easy so their child can look good versus just working hard to be good.
Hard Work is something that eludes our society today. People complain about migrant workers. Im always straight up honest about it to every single person who complains, Ill offer them the job and then they can complain. Nobody ever wants the job. Its hard work and they feel entitled to more than its worth. They dont want to work over 40hrs and they want overtime. Theres no overtime in ag. The farmers themselves dont get overtime or a paycheck they get paid by the amount of hard work they put in. Hispanics work their asses off when at work. Were not slave drivers, we just keep the ones around that are quick, smart and actually care about their job. Most put in 60-90hrs a week because they want to. They still will take a vacation if needed but they always take the responsibility to find someone to fill in. When we had high school kids milking we were always having to go out and milk because they just didnt show up and wouldnt call. I could care less about race, ill take any race that can work hard, be responsible and take pride in their job. Ill agred there are plenty of bad hispanics and they give the good ones a bad name.
As another poster said there used to be a code known simply as respect. It was unspoken but it was beaten into you (literally) by teachers and parents. You learned to simply respect others. Deals were done with handshakes, trust was everywhere and I think the general population as a hole was much happier. People lived within their means better and crime was primarily organized crime. A lot of the murders were people that were involved not random civilians.
My cousin and I were talking the other day. We wondered if we just gave the Liberals their drugs, gay marraige, and abortion would they shut up for awhile and stop getting involved in other more important things. I consider myseld socially liberal, im not really a god fearing christian but im not an atheist. However I could care less if somebody wants to get high while having gay sex then getting an abortion(dont ask me how that would happen). I just want them to quit spending so much damn money on stupid stuff. Spend money on welfare, I think we could affors to spend money to take it away from people who are not pursuing jobs or are not using the money properly.
