Guys,

any recommendations for a 3 inch y bridge?

Also any idea what these amount to on a max effort tune for hp?

I don't see how its worth it on a tune only truck? I've gone 11's on a 2.5 inch bridge just saying... Money might be better spent other places

I have a Wcfab Y-bridge with a stock turbo and RDL intake horn. It fit great and hooked up to the intercooler tube in the stock location. Not sure on how much power it adds.

Thanks guys, Im not really sure where money is better spent at this point. Not much left to do unless I do a bigger turbo but I dont want to build the motor. Any recommendations on mods?

bigger turbo and go boom haha.

Probably better off with the dinners :D

Honestly the truck runs great, its fun on the street, I should probably just be happy with it as is haha.

I vote for a ported/polished turbo!!! haha:roflmao:

Like others have said, larger turbo. The really question I think is what do you use the pickup for and what are your goals? Once you think of that then you're have a clearer path.

Stock Y-bridge is fine unless you're going for big horsepower in my opinion.

I really didnt want to do a turbo and potentially bend or break a rod. Ill probably just keep it as.

Batmowheel and y bridge seem really costly for the gains.

I really liked my y bridge from pro fab. It seemed to wake the truck up at about 2500rpm and up. I had the shorty with the boost tube that comes up over the alternator.

bigger turbo doesn't mean you will bend rods, just have it tuned by someone good and youll be fine. lots of people around here running 68mm stock appearing chargers, pump, injectors, tuned by duramax tuner, with the stock bottom end. good tuning goes a long way.

I know people have have made alot more power on a stock bottom end for many miles, but it seems risks multiply alot more get over the stock turbo's limits.

I may do a bigger turbo eventually. Would head gaskets be an issue? Or they will go regardless at some point without the grade c's?

For as cheap as a set of Grade C gaskets are I would throw a set in for peace of mind.

I think the standard gasket will go if you don't install a set of ARP head studs...
