Poop on a stick. You are right, you cant get tdi/quattro drive. My bad.
I participated in the. Leavenworth euro cruise this year and saw a white a3 tdi, slammed on kw coilovers/hre 19" wheels that had the awd and quattro sticker on stock rear glass, and tinted in. Now come to think of it, switching out the rear window would be pretty easy.
goes to show, dont believe everything you see/read. Sorry guys.

and another thing, FYI. There is no such thing as a "TDI with the S-line package"

all TDI A3's have the s-line package.

the only options on the A3 TDI are the sport package (18's vs. 17's, lowered slightly, nicer front seats, and I think sway bars are diffrent), and the premium plus package (HID's, heated mirrrors, heated seats, and the panorama sunroof)

Sure you can, just not in the states. They were all over the roads in Germany/Europe.

yeah I realize that.......but we arent in europe are we........which is why I didnt bother mentioning it....... (that an a3 tdi quattro is EU only)

the EU 2.0 common-rail TDI is also 170hp (CBBB)...the one we get is detuned to 140hp (CBEA), and I think ours has a different turbo and injectors too. But again, thats irrelevant....cause we're in 'MUURRIICCAAA!!!! :D

The wife drives a 2012 jetta TDI and with a little bit of Redline diesel additive it gets 43 mpg on long trips running 85 on the interstate. running slower in the mountains it still got 38. Thinking of send ecm in for tuning and doing a dpf delete on it. They say you can expect 5mpg increase and gives you 30HP but the delete pipe is 1200$ and tune is 600$. for 1800 dollars I can buy alot of fuel LOL. Car only has 10,000 miles

My money went to rawtek. They are expensive, but, the best. You get what you pay for. The Rawtek system is the best IMHO. Turbo back 2.5" mandrel bent stainless dpf delete, resonator and free flowing muffler with dual single side polished exit, also included is a stainless intake and dry filter, with accompanying Malone tuning gets you a really sweet sound and a nice power bump with improved throttle response. Add an HPA stage 2 DSG tune and your tdi will beat stock mustangs! The kicker, price. The rawtek system and Malone tune will set you back $2800 and the HPA DSG stg2 tune will take another $800 out of your pocket, all for about 55hp(max) and 80lbfttq. Don't get me wrong, the power is very noticeable, fuel economy goes up too, I was getting 54 mpg hwy with the DSG auto, in the hilly/mountainous area I live in and 44-47 city, almost a 10mpg bump on both sides from what I could attain stock. Was it worth it? Hard to say, I did enjoy it, but I think I would've rather put the money into the duramax. Considering I traded the car less than a year later, no, it wasn't worth it....
