It doesnt look totaled to me, guess it depends on how much labor they assess for the repairs. But from what i can see if the pictures Other than the body damage its things i could fix in my shop on the weekend....but i cant see underneith the truck. Either way, glad no one got hurt. :thumb:

I would almost guarantee its toast, the cab is prob a lot worse than it looks, and the rocker panel looks hurt pretty bad, and I'd be willing to bet the frame has some bend in it

Kind of my thoughts. Looking at the first picture, the way the passenger rear door is jacked up at the top. My bet is the frame is tweaked. Doesn't automatically mean totaled but 30K+ in damages is tough to get to anyway you look at it. Curious to see what the insurance company says.

well looks like it is not totaled, body guy said he is almost positive he going to replace the frame, which blows my mind how that doesnt total it but he said it still doesnt meet the 70% which state farm needs for it to be totaled. does anyone know how this affects my warranty?

Replacing the frame doesn't have any effect on the warranty or title. It doesn't take that long to do the change over either.

How is the body shop ur taking it to..Do they paint in a shed and use bar and chain to straighten frame's or are they legit. Cause to do frame work like that i wouldnt take it to just anyone.

they are very good, my wifes car was there after hitting a deer this past winter and my family has used them multiple times over the years. never had any issues very happy with there work. and he told me he wasnt going to straighten anything it would be completely replaced.

i stopped by today at streevals and he said he is not positive it isnt totaled yet, to be totaled his bill has to be $31,800, and he said if he has to replace frame he is at 26,800 and still is finding some things

for 27k you should just have him buy you a gas truck and swap the drivetrain into it.... at least you would have a 100% straight truck to start with.... and probably less money
