****ing assholes, putting their hands in your kids pants was not enough. Turning the country into a prison . Guilty before process. Breaching human rights and constitutions

Does this mean that the TSA rectal exams at the airports will soon come to a halt?

Wait, so people would rather be felt up in a slow line that makes you run late for your plain then be scanned by a laser? Either way you're going to be checked, I suggest not bringing drugs and guns with you on the airplane.

Its not about being felt up or weather or not you doing anything illegal. Its about having you constitutional rights tramped on by any over reaching government. Its about freedom!!!!! That's ok really my travel time is paid for and its my choice to drive. There I can protect myself and not relie on those razor sharp TSA agents that feel up little kid and old ladies. Just because we can't use common sense.

I'm not worried about it for a different reason: it probably won't work. I'm saying this as an Electrical Engineer and a Computer Engineer. I'll believe it works when it actually gets installed and starts catching things, but I'm not holding my breath.
I am not to worried about it.....I rather be alive then dead and if your not doing anything illegal your fine.
You seem to be missing a key point here: almost everything is illegal. 95% of what we do to our trucks is illegal. They way many of us drive is illegal in several (dozens of?) ways. Who knows what product or action they will make illegal next.

The problem isn't the government getting better at finding illegal substances and acts, it is the government losing perspective, and not being able to tell the difference between an innocent mistake or by a regular joe, and a nutjob terrorist bent on mass destruction. And we are not (effectively) making them change policy, so really, no one but us to blame.

It is just sad to live in a world where most of the things I grew up doing for fun are now illegal (my parents "should" be in jail for letting me do them), and I'm not even 27 yet. New laws are passed at a rate so high that even the lawmakers can't read them all. Since we can't possibly read the laws we are subject to, who knows what all we are doing that is illegal.

If you want to look into it more, you can start with this book, but there is tons of information out there.

That is why I cringe when people say "if you're not doing anything illegal, you have nothing to fear"--- we are ALL doing illegal things, every day. We usually don't even know it.

Last time I was in an airport I had to get a body scan. Stand in this big box while they look at you naked. I caught a glimpse of the screen after I got through, leaves nothing to the imagination.

So I told myself next time I have to venture on to an air plane, I'll pop a Viagra about 45 minutes before air port security. Make them feel a little uncomfortable.

Hell, I'll request a strip search instead of the body scanner, teach them a lesson haha

Did my truck come with any thing that it has to have on it to be legal? I see your point but I will not be taking my truck through an air port any time soon.
There has to be a bit of give and take or we would all be in jail.

That is way I generally drive, but if i do fly, I don't want the plane to blow up or be crashed by some idiot trying to hijack the plane. So if you lose some of your freedom of privately to stay alive, I am for it and it is also a lot better then being stripped searched. What had been said is true about doing illegal stuff everyday is true and I can't claim to be perfect. Just don't try smuggling drugs, knifed, guns, c4 or anything on your carry on and you will not have a problem.

How many people have been killed on plans since 9-11 world wide? Do you really think that is just because of pat downs and scanners at our airports?

You might be happy to give up your freedom to FEEL safer. Me not so much a lot of things these days are done based on feelings not facts and it makes me sick.

They have been talking about adding them to a hell of a lot more than just airports you know.

Like the border crossing here where I live. They say it will speed the flow up but what I see is just about everyone getting pulled in.

O look you went over on a city bus and sat in a where someone that did crack sat. Now you are in shit and may go to jail.

O look a fiend that smokes pot needed a ride home one night. You the nice guy gave him a ride now you get pulled in the next day crossing over.

yes it could be used for good but things like this are mostly over used and just makes life worse for all.

Does this pic from the article look like anything technical?
