I built a couple of 4L80e's for the Mexican mafia who had a couple of trucks just like this one. They both were CCSB 4X4 1500 trucks running 408 stokers with superchargers and 3 stages of nox. Both were 9 sec trucks used for street racing. Very fast.:thumb::happy2:

Do these trucks still use stock autotracs and readends? Major stress on those i would think.

No autotrac and the rear diff is a built stock unit. I never launched these trucks but hitting it from a 30 mph roll is breathtaking.:D

There is an area close to the TTS shop in Compton that is in reality a big time street racing area. When I was down there and Steve was tuning my 02 I'd go down there and and do boosted launches and run it all the way up to close to 100mph. That was during the day and never had a problem. They had a starting line and lots of rubber laid down on the street.
