There seems to be something wrong. My truck is not modded highly and when it had the stock charger you could pretty much mash the Pedal to the floor and by the time second gear engaged it was full spool till you couldn't handle no more. Not throwing much fuel at the. cheetah is like having traction control. :woott:

Tried a low fuel tune and could finally reach 30 at 70 mph. I don't think its a boost leak but I planned on checking it today. Also borrowed a 100psi lol gauge I'm going to hook up to read drive pressure. Could have the vains sticking

Well as far as I could tell just by looking at the turbo it was fine. But I didn't pulling the turbine housing on it. I can make my turbo bark soft very easily if I let out of it at a certain boost # like clock work if that tells ya anything?

There is no leaks in the intake side, and showing no signs of exhaust side leakage. I guess what I'm hearing at 20 psi let off is normal, its a wooooosh sound (just read people hear that all the time). Just never heard that before with this truck so I thought it was funny. However in the past (with different tuning) I have been able to bark the turbo at my command. Turbo has no linear or radial play last I checked. Also my compressor had alittle oil in it like the seal was leaking. Noticed it when I was putting the charger back on the motor. I cleaned the compressor side out real good with eyther when I took the cover off to kinda polish it up. Thought that was funny, but was told by someone that is normal and the seals need pressure to keep the seal good and it was normal for a shelf sitting turbo??

I'm not sure. But for the most part turbo whistle is very loud, like its gonna start hurting my hearing. But thats cruising at its between 10 and 15 psi iirc when it gets annoying

In that case I need to monitor pre intercooler boost.

Once you install the DP gauge it should help us diagnose either bad vains , stuck vains , or if there were a clogged IC

How would someone go about unclogging one, or even checking for that matter?

You could measure boost pre IC and post IC and compare , there should be around a 2 psi difference usually .
