When they stick or at least when mine did whatever they did it threw codes that said vane post would not learn or something. When you start the truck the vane cycles through its range of motion. If the vanes are burnt they could be limited on there travel. I tried to troubsho:hug:eek:t mine through the dvt function and when I would manually change the vane post it made no difference in the sound of the exhaust. However when the truck idled the vane would hunt and cause the exhaust to whistle then stop over and over. Sounded funny. Not sure if this is similar to your problem but it sounds like your on the right track to troubleshooting and I'm sure someone on here can help ya narrow it down. Good luck.

Well jerry rigged a drive gauge. It has alittle leak and the gauge flutters. But for the most part its dead one 2:1 ratio I got a video its kinda hard to tell the numbers on the gauge. That's when I floor it. But sometimes if I roll into it drive is 45 while boost is 33 and then the drive will slowly raise to 70s in the high rpm

Wtf

I pulled outta Wendy's drive thru a little bit ago and got on it a bit as I was turning on to the road and blending with traffic. Well I was stuck in first gear man. mode and didn't realize it. Didn't matter cause a stop light was 100ft ahead. I took off from light and truck felt all piggish. Its doing the same facking thing. Acts like its not fueling enough. Wtf. Boost seems a little sluggish but there's no smoke on the race tune so I guess its not lighting as fast. Could use some help Till I get home to my v2.

Doing the same thing as mine? Will having high drive pressure hurt my engine or just the turbo? I might just max out the vane angle and let it use all it can to give me the boost I need to make any good power. I have a ppe boost controller I can hook up and mess around with (I would imagine logging vane position will still read correctly?)

I ran a 12.47 at 106.5 lastnight with 35% average vane angle. Running 1700* through the traps. Looking at the logs alittle less defueling it could run faster. This was with 1.77 60 ft can only launch at 13 psi or it blows the tired off

madmax... dumb question, but you're launching in 4hi right??? Lots of guys here are launching at higher boost then that and not having a traction issue.

Does anyone know how to lower the fuel down low to help me spool to full boost on the pulling track, or when racing? Still blacking out the streets and sled events. Anyone who has seen me pull will say I smoke more than old 12v or 3.0 truckw
