There must not be too many people out there with triples yet apparently. No one has really chimed in with dyno numbers, track time , manors of this setup and such.
I see, I think Larry at DP told me just this week when I was talking to him that their truck was running the 72mm in the valley with 2 366s making 1100 rwhp and some change.
I Love your ride bcdeutsch731
I currently have the same setup as your truck . I believe it would be more fun and easier driving if its like what you describe . Question is what was he breaking in those convertors ? Was that single pump modded/stroked ? How much injectors ?
Wow , thats damn good for a full weight truck to pull a low 10. I already have the DP 72 in the valley . I want to work with what I have and add at least the 2. 366s . With my 5700# truck , I can see 9s happening . Thanks for the video clip !
I myself honestly don't understand the triples craze. Okay, I can understand they MIGHT spool better on the street. But honestly, do they really spool any better on the street than a set of twins when you put the skinny pedal to the floor? My single 72 is a hog driving around the street, unless I punch the pedal.
I just can't justify the extra cost, weight, potential leaks, and complication of a triple kit. Simplicity goes a long way
As far as I am concerned a compound setup can do anything a triple setup can do, for less money and less parts.
